HELLO
The Critical Fish is an artist-led journal and project promoting critical and accessible writing and thinking about arts and visual culture. Our publications, workshops and participatory opportunities are forums for exploration and debate – connecting organisations, artists, writers, researchers and audiences, and supporting creativity across the city and region through cultural conversations. We are developing our online presence but are still committed to producing print publications when we can.
At The Critical Fish we believe culture is our common property and we hope as many people will get involved as possible – we support creativity and culture in Hull and the region, but are also outward facing and invite contributions and ideas from further afield. . If you have an article you’d like to share, send it across to hello@thecriticalfish.co.uk and our small team of volunteers will help get it published.
We are committed to providing a number of opportunities for artists, writers and researchers. Please check back often and follow us on Instagram or Facebook to be the first to know about upcoming opportunities.
We have a wealth of interesting articles for you to explore – enjoy your time here with us!
